The Woman's Club of Pitman was founded in 1921.
Purpose:
To provide an organized activity for women which will make possible an exchange of ideas, contribute to their cultural and social development, and work for the benefit of the community.

Arts/Creative
To stimulate interest in any of the varied activities connected with running a home. To promote fuller appreciation and greater participation in arts and crafts and cultural activities.

Performing Arts
To broaden interest in creative writing and wide reading. To stimulate study and active participation in all phases of the drama. To develop deeper understanding and appreciation of all forms of music and encourage wide participation by Club members.
Civic Engagement and Outreach
To provide an unbiased presentation and study of local, county, and state affairs.


Environment
To create a year-round interest in conservation and perserving our environment.
